the novelty of apple imac

apple has been around for longer than anyone cared to remember. from the humble (but rather artistic superball ad) beginning, at least my generation has already remembered apple as those boxes with funny one button mice and an apple with a bite off. Oh and that episode in forest gump. but lately with the taking off of apple's ipod and unsurprisingly their share price, steve jobs has done a stellar job of brining back apple to the public eye. their latest imac is yet another
style and functional statement that screams "fuck you dell". however the delicate point of apple's design allow rooms for deliberation by ppl such as myself.

once upon a time, monitors are huge dinasour shaped beings that non-geeks mistake for "computer". we in the loop have been fending the insultative remark of "that's a large computer" while pointing at our monitor for years. thankfully with the advent of LCD, we no long look like idiots with two metal boxes but idiots with one metal box and one panel. sort of 1.5 idiots. So now comes the question: is imac design really that good? personally i start to have doubts. so imacs is sort of a huge laptop stick on the back of a LCD. so how do u upgrade stuff? most ppl store their mini tower under their desk out of sight anyway, so is the rare hassle of kicking some stray cable really worth all the effort? if you are thinking this, you are, like me,
an unstylish yobbo who buy from big W and shop at Bi-Lo. we are missing the entire point here. the minimalist design appear to those wannabes who digs coolness over functionality.

Moviejournal: bourne ultimatum, rush hour 3, outsourced (russell peters live), i now pronounce you chuck and larry

Bourne

short of making the bourne redundancy, this is the last we will see the uber calm and uber athletic bourne. the last episode of bourne's epic struggle against all things evil in US government seems to have much larger quantity of pent up anger than the previous two, which were much relaxed and focussed. has the director changed? (i didn't check). some rather neat action sequence nonetheless, without much actress support in the boobs apartment (AKA transformer-esque), bourne (damon) carried the whole film through without a sweat.

Rush hour 3

did somebody say 3 times' the charm? sadly it didn't work. jacky chan isn't getting any younger and chris tucker is still quite funny. but whatever rakes in the movie cash i guess. like bourne series i don't think there'll be more of this. seriously, what can succeed paris?

Outsourced

Russell peters is funniest when i first see him. now he's just mixing the old stuff with some new gag mostly racially slanted. he didn' leave any group of people behind though, mind you. still quite funny, just not the same as the first time.

随着A型感冒病毒渐渐减弱，期盼已久的夏天毅然决然得降临在挣扎中的人们。竟然早晚上班开车有开空调的欲望和渴求，真是计划赶不上季节。上周买的20元棉拖鞋先如今依然失去宠爱，估计明年才有望得到大家的重视。这温度改动可谓嗖嗖的，两天不看天气预报最低温度竟依然超过12，最高温度直逼30.

昨日有幸观赏了20年来美国最受欢迎动画片新蒲森家族电影版。虽然人物早已耳熟能详，电影效果仍能让旧瓶装上新酒。一直以来辛普森所普及的亲情友情呆气与豪情也在此片中一展无疑。不过很难想象能有继续拍续集的可能，本片已经有总结成绩的味道，难不成再过20年再搞一部？到时bart仍旧10岁的话倒是十分有趣。

每年两次的大学学期已然再一次到达，日以继夜得工作又将到达。这次必须学会劳逸结合避轻就重，否则又会是对身心的摧残和打击。
