Moviejournal: Elypsium
Maybe it's due to me being partially sick from the alcohol or partially suffering from an onset of viral flu, i wasn't receptive enough to this film. i mean the premises reeks the stench of rotten and expired plot: a future 2 tier society... i mean at least timberlake's "In Time" was stylishly done with younger faces. Judie Foster.... hmmmm. And the whole conflict and struggle was too much of a cliche and the last minute hero dying to save the whole world, not to mention it's absurdity, is so very late 90's.
so we've established that this is a wholly forgetful film, lets delve into the plot. How in 40 years time we evolve into such a two tier society is beyond me though. surely a democracy would ensure this not happening in the US of A, but who cares.
